From Brazil to Friesland — a salon built around one specialty, done right.
Grace has been working in hair removal since 2010, learning the craft in Brazil before moving to the Netherlands in 2017. In 2019, she opened her own salon in Leeuwarden — the first in Friesland dedicated exclusively to hair removal, with no other treatments on the menu. That focus is intentional: doing one thing, and doing it well.
Along the way, Grace developed her own wax formula, made with natural ingredients like beeswax and tree resin. It's now the wax used in every treatment at the salon — and the same wax available to buy in the shop. Since 2023, the salon has also offered laser hair removal with a professional European laser system, for clients looking for longer-term results.
Unfortunately, we currently only offer our waxing and laser hair removal treatments to women. However, we do sell our own natural wax products, which we also use in the salon, so that you can achieve salon-quality results at home.
To achieve the best results, please follow these simple guidelines before your appointment:
• Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment.
• Avoid waxing, plucking, or using hair removal creams for at least 4 weeks before treatment.
• Stay out of the sun and avoid tanning (including self-tanners) for at least 2 weeks before your appointment.
• Do not apply lotions, oils, deodorant, makeup, or perfume to the treatment area on the day of your treatment.
• Wear comfortable clothing if you’re having a larger area treated.
• Are you pregnant, or taking any medication or have had recent changes to your health? Please let us know in advance.

Waxing results typically last 3 to 6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and the area being treated. For the best long-term results, we recommend booking your appointments every 4 to 6 weeks.

Both types of wax provide excellent hair removal, but they are designed for different treatments.
Roll-on wax is applied in a thin layer using a cartridge and removed with a waxing strip. It’s ideal for larger areas such as the legs, arms, chest, and back, making treatments quick and efficient.
Wax beads (hard wax) are melted and applied directly to the skin. They harden as they cool and are removed without strips. Hard wax is gentler on the skin and grips the hair rather than the skin, making it the preferred choice for sensitive areas like the face, underarms, and Brazilian bikini.
