GRACE'S STORY

Grace Luxury Wax is a professional hair removal salon in Leeuwarden, founded in 2019 by Grace de Boer. Originally from Brazil, Grace has been working with hair removal since 2010 and brought her passion and expertise to the Netherlands in 2017.

 

Grace Luxury Wax is proud to be the first salon in Friesland dedicated exclusively to hair removal. By focusing only on this specialty, Grace is able to offer highly skilled treatments and the best possible results for her clients.

 

Grace also developed her own all-natural wax formula, which later became a professional product line recognized by its signature pink packaging and natural ingredients.

 

Since 2023, the salon also offers professional laser hair removal using a high-quality European laser system, always prioritizing precision, comfort, and great results.

WOW! Na altijd te waxen in Spanje was het ontzettend moeilijk voor mij om een goede wax studio te vinden, al helemaal hier in Friesland. Spontaan Grace een berichtje gestuurd en ze kon me al super snel in plannen. Ik vond het best spannend aangezien de keer ervoor (wat ook in Leeuwarden was maar bij een andere wax studio) ik echt ontzettend ontevreden was. Ze ontving me super lief, hele oprechte, vriendelijke vrouw. Toen kwam ik in haar studio, die makkelijk te vinden was, en het was zo bizar mooi! Heel erg cute en daardoor kreeg ik gelijk een veilig, fijn en ontspannen gevoel. Ze had zelf gemaakte organische wax, wat natuurlijk 10 keer beter is voor je huid. Ze heeft heel erg de tijd genomen voor het waxen van mijn oksels en full brazillian. Ik ben nog nooit zo goed gewaxt, er was GEEN 1 haartje/stoppel terug te vinden, zo glad als een baby haha! Ze heeft zelfs al mijn ingegroeide haren gezocht en er allemaal uitgehaald. Ik heb hier erg last van dus geloof me ze heeft echt ontzettend de tijd genomen. Als je opzoek bent naar een fijne, mooie wax studio waar je ontzettend goed word gewaxt, zoek niet verder. Ook als je twijfelt om voor het eerst te waxen, bij Grace ben je 100% in goede handen. Ik raad het iedereen aan.

I've never waxed before but heard from friends that it is amazing so it catched my interest. But then you need to find the right place from all the ones on the internet... My best friend told me to go here, because according to her this is the best waxing place in Leeuwarden. So I did. And I believe she is right because my experience was perfect. The saloon is in her own house upstairs, only 1 person fits and only 1 person does the waxing. Which, in my opinion, is very relaxed since it was my first time. And there's basically a 100% privacy which I really like 😊 The interior is super pretty and it's very clean. The waxing itself was a good experience as well. She is very sweet and we had nice conversations. And as I was breathing out, she pulled the wax strip off. Moreover, in my opinion, the price is absolutely perfect. She also works with a small card on which you can collect stamps each time you've done any treatments there. Once the card is full you get a discount. I definitely recommend this place and I will definitely come back!

Afgelopen 3 jaar heb ik maandelijks bij Grace gewaxt, wat altijd mega goed bevallen is! Sinds kort zijn we begonnen met de laser-treatment, waar Grace nu ook in gespecialiseerd is en het resultaat is werkelijkwaar verbluffend! 😱😍 Ik vond het spannend en was ergens wat sceptisch, maar zelfs na de eerste keer komt er al amper haar terug… Dus ik ben super tevreden! 😇 Niet alleen is Grace onwijs goed in wat ze doet, maar ze is ook nog eens zó lief, meegaand en vriendelijk. The BEST place in Friesland for your waxing & lasering appointments. I tried so many salons in cities like Groningen and Rotterdam, even in Spain, but none of the specialists had the skills and work experience like Grace has. None of them were as hygienic, fast and aimed for the best results like Grace! After many top waxing appointments, I recently also started Lasering with her and the results so far have been amazing! I went to Grace for laser threatment. I am now 3 treatments in and the progress is amazing!! She is such an empathic person with a sweet heart and attitude. She makes me feel very comfortable always and she never rushes a treatment. I would 10 out of 10 recommend! She is so adjusted to you and your pain level too she takes this very serious and tries to make it as comfortable/effective for you. Got all the skin knowledge. Grace is simply the best! Since I came to Leeuwarden, it took me some time to find her and the previous experiences I had in waxing cannot even be compared with what Graces does! Grace is niet alleen een ontzettend lieve vrouw. Je voelt je op je gemak bij binnenkomst, de sfeer in de salon is warm, hygiënisch en prettig. Tijdens de behandeling wordt nauwkeurig, hygiënisch en professioneel gewerkt. De wax wordt door Grace zelf gemaakt, eindelijk een wax waar mijn huid achteraf geen irritatie van krijgt of zeer doet. Ik kom al bijna 2 jaar als vaste klant bij Grace voor mijn (Brazilian)wax en beveel iedereen zo’n fijne wax-lady aan! PS: aan het eind krijg je een heerlijke homemade brigadeiro mee, zo lief!

Toen ik de eerste keer wou waxen was ik erg bang. Hoe het zou voelen maar ook of het niet ongemakkelijk zou zijn. Dit viel mij reuze mee want Grace laat je erg op je gemak voelen. Ik ben iedere keer weer tevreden met de resultaten! Geen brandblaartjes maar een super zachte huid door de zelfgemaakte wax. Waxen blijft pijn doen maar dit is de minst pijnlijke wax die ik heb gehad, door de methode die wordt gebruikt. Grace zorgt naast professionele resultaten voor een fijne, ontspannen sfeer en is altijd bereid om te helpen met adviezen. Super service!!
