Unfortunately, we currently only offer our waxing and laser hair removal treatments to women. However, we do sell our own natural wax products, which we also use in the salon, so that you can achieve salon-quality results at home.
For the best results from your waxing treatment, gently exfoliate the area 24 hours before your visit and avoid lotions or oils on the day of your appointment. Please arrive freshly showered. Hair should be at least 6mm long so our natural wax can grip properly and remove hair cleanly from the root.
Because we wax with our own natural wax, made from beeswax and tree resin, most clients experience less irritation than with standard salon wax, even on sensitive skin.
With a Brazilian wax, you have everything removed: front, back, and everything in between, for completely smooth skin. Prefer to keep a small strip or shape? That's possible too — we always discuss this together beforehand, so you know exactly what to expect.
We work with our own natural honey wax, which is gentler on the skin than most other waxes and helps prevent irritation or redness afterward. The treatment takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Waxing is never completely painless, but most clients are surprised at how manageable it actually is, especially with regular visits, as the hair grows back finer over time.
Waxing results typically last 3 to 6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and the area being treated. For the best long-term results, we recommend booking your appointments every 4 to 6 weeks.

To achieve the best results, please follow these simple guidelines before your appointment:
• Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment.
• Avoid waxing, plucking, or using hair removal creams for at least 4 weeks before treatment.
• Stay out of the sun and avoid tanning (including self-tanners) for at least 2 weeks before your appointment.
• Do not apply lotions, oils, deodorant, makeup, or perfume to the treatment area on the day of your treatment.
• Wear comfortable clothing if you’re having a larger area treated.
• Are you pregnant, or taking any medication or have had recent changes to your health? Please let us know in advance.

On average, 6 to 8 laser hair removal treatments are needed for long-lasting smooth skin. The exact number depends on the treatment area, your hair type, and skin type. Since hair grows in cycles, we plan the treatments over several weeks apart for the best results.
Most people experience a mild tingling or warm sensation during laser hair removal, but it's generally very tolerable. At Grace Luxury Wax in Leeuwarden, we work with the Epil808, an Italian 808nm diode laser system with a built-in cooling function, focused on comfort and precise results.
After laser hair removal, we recommend avoiding sauna, swimming pools, and hot showers for the first 24 hours. Protect the skin with SPF for at least 2 weeks against sun exposure and tanning beds. We also recommend not scratching, scrubbing, or pulling at the hairs — they will fall out on their own.
